Comfort Keepers in-home care providers are the compassionate people who deliver our premier brand of in-home caregiving.
As the face of our company, we only choose the very best Comfort Keepers providers to represent our company which is why we have an extensive hiring and placement process. Each Comfort Keeper goes through a strenuous screening process which includes a series of interviews, background checks, and educational courses to ensure that they can provide the very best care and attention to our seniors
Only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of care – and become Comfort Keepers. Our caregivers also pass extensive background checks and receive continuing education. Our Comfort Keepers are bonded, insured and covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance. This protects our clients and their families – and because they are Comfort Keepers employees, we take care of their payroll taxes.
Comfort Keepers work as trusted partners with families to provide their loved ones a complete in-home care solution to promote independent living.

Meet the Team
Rosie is the owner of Comfort Keepers in Edmonton. Due to her personal experience when she had to look after a loved one, Rosie realized how important it was to provide client centered care to seniors or anyone that was vulnerable. There was a huge gap between the care that was needed and what was available.
Most of Rosie’s career was working in medical research at the University of Alberta after finishing university in England.
She has lived in Edmonton for about 40 years and believes in giving back to the community that has supported her and her family for so many years. Rosie has always enjoyed working with people and that is the main experience that she brings in running a home care company. Rosie enjoys spending time with her husband (Faruq), children and grandchildren. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, biking and skiing together.
Tammy joined the Comfort Keepers team in 2014 having 20 years in the home care industry. She is the Scheduler for our caregivers and clients along with performing other office admin duties. She is a certified PSW in Ontario. When not busy with clients and caregivers, Tammy enjoys being a grandmother and renovating her home. She also keeps busy with her two “fur” babies.

A firm believer in being challenged; she regularly assesses and streamlines various procedures. Simultaneously, Katrina is a full-time student at the University of Alberta, where she is completing her Bachelors.
