She has been an integral part of caregiving in the Edmonton area for the past 20 years. Rosie\u2019s career with Comfort Keepers has touched so many people and she will be missed. We wish her all the best in her retirement as she discovers new adventures.<\/p>\n<p>Rosie\u2019s career began in medical research at the University of Alberta after finishing university in England.<\/p>\n<p>Rosie&#8217;s career in caregiving began when she found herself in the situation of looking after a loved one. She recognized how important it was to provide client-centered care to seniors or anyone vulnerable. Rosie experienced a huge gap between the care that was needed and the care available. This sparked her determination to make a difference in healthcare support for her community.<\/p>\n<p>She has lived in Edmonton for 40 years. Rosie believes in giving back to the community that has supported her and her family for so many years. Rosie has always enjoyed working with people and that experience is what she brought into the homecare field. We have had an outpouring of support expressing how admired Rosie was by her team and clients.<\/p>\n<p>Rosie enjoys spending time with her husband (Faruq), children and grandchildren. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, biking and skiing together. We hope she will now have more time with her family for such activities or any other endeavor she pursues.
