We are so pleased to be able to start the process of being vaccinated against Covid-19. As always, the safety of our staff, clients, and community is a top priority and this is such an important step towards a better and brighter future. Thank you to the incredible healthcare workers at PRHC for everything they do for this community and a special thanks to those involved in vaccinating the people of Peterborough.

We were so pleased to help make the holidays joyful and festive for nine local seniors thanks to your generous donations for the Santa for Seniors initiative! This community is truly amazing and we thank you on behalf of the seniors whose spirits we were able to lift during a very different holiday season.

When Covid-19 made its way into our community we knew that there was a need for additional support among seniors and those with compromised health. Everyone deserves access to the food and medications they need, but with the health and safety precautions in place in most stores, those once-simple daily errands became complicated or impossible for many.
To give back to this amazing community, we introduced our grocery shopping and delivery service and continued to run it through the worst of the pandemic at no charge to make sure that the people in our community stayed safely at home.
It felt so good to be able to give back and do our part to keep Peterborough safe and fed!
We had so much fun this past weekend at the Peterborough Wellness Exhibition!
It was an incredible opportunity to come face-to-face with a variety of wellness practitioners and environmental activists in Peterborough! Peterborough really does have it all. From naturopathic doctors, nutritionists, chiropractors, massage therapists, to folks like us at Comfort Keepers Peterborough – your options for wellness and health care are endless.
We had an amazing evening networking, enjoying performers, and building community at the Peterborough Business Exchange. Alyssa was able to catch up and have some fun with local Realtors Benjamin VanVeen and Catherine Hanranhan as well as local entrepreneur Lyndel Gauci, owner of Little Miss Perfect Services.
The Peterborough Business Exchange (PBX) is for anyone in business looking to interact with other businesses, influencers, community leaders and artists. We’ll definitely be attending again next year!

The Comfort Keepers had a visit from Santa and some elves. We must have been good this year! Celebrating the holidays together was so special and this will become an annual tradition for sure!
We had an amazing day at the Peterborough Love Local Expo connecting with business owners, service providers, and people in the community. Building these relationships is one way we are able to provide exceptional service and support to our clients and their families.
Some of the Comfort Keepers team joined forces on site for a Habitat for Humanity build here in Peterborough. It was an amazing time and felt so good to give back to families in our own community. Everyone deserves a safe and comfortable home to live in.
The Alzheimer Society’s staff and volunteers provide crucial support and resources to people in our community living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. We are so proud to work alongside them in the community. We had a wonderful time helping them celebrate their bright and beautiful new space!
We had a wonderful time at the Peterborough Business Exchange networking with so many local businesses and service providers. A big thanks to the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce for organizing such an important event for our business community. We will definitely be back again!

Opening our Comfort Keepers location here in Peterborough has been such an amazing expereince. We were overwhelmed with support at the grand opening! With over 70 people in attendance, including a representative from the Mayor’s Office and Chamber of Commerce, it was truly amazing. If you were one of our guests, thank you. Your support means everything!
If we have one thing in Peterborough, it is an abundance of talented, hardworking businesswomen. Many have come together in an online communiy called the Lady Bosses of Peterborough (check them out on Facebook!) to talk about business and to build community. This was a great day of giving back and connecting with other entrepreneurial women from Peterborough.
Dandelion Day Festival in Peterborough was a blast! This amazing annual event focuses on featuring and supporting local makers and celebrating wellness with a special focus on healthy lifestyles. There was delicious food, interesting wellness practitioners, and an abundance of natural health products to sample and purchase.

The Walk for Alzheimer’s (formerly Walk for Memories) is a unique, joyful event. We were so pleased to attend and participate this year! It is an annual way to celebrate life, honour a caregiver, and come together with a community of people who understand the impact of this disease.
Help us honour and remember the people who have lived with dementia, and join us in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease.
Some of the Comfort Keepers team attended the grand opening of the new ReStore, located in the north end of the city on 300 Milroy Drive. These stores do so much for the people in our community and make the amazing work of Habitate for Humanity to continue. If you are in the North End of Peterborough, make sure to check it out!
The Inspire Women’s Portrait Project is a photographic celebration of the amazing women in Canadian communities who empower, inspire, uplift and support those around them. It is a completely organic, community-driven selection of diverse women all across Canada. The women who are nominated have the opportunity to have their portrait taken and to be featured and celebrated! I am so proud to sit on the board for sponsorship.
We had a wonderful time visiting with some of the folks from the Peterborough Humane Society. We learned a lot and had such a great time playing with this sweet pup! Come back anytime.
Marissa from Kawartha Heights Retirement Residence took us on a tour of St Josephs at Fleming. St. Joseph’s at Fleming provides compassionate person-centered long-term care support to ensure the care and comfort of each of their residents. It is a beautiful space and the team working there is exceptional.
