To protect the health of all people within a facility, a 14-day quarantine is required for anyone newly entering the premises in order to screen for any potential risks. At Comfort Keepers<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> of Toronto, we offer quarantine care services, provided by our loving personal support workers to ensure that your elderly loved ones stay safe and comfortable during this transition. Our personal support workers strive to provide seniors with not only the necessary care but also engage in safe activities and provide a trusting conversational partner in order to prevent feelings of isolation. It is essential to provide seniors with a positive outlook and daily joy during these unprecedented Canadian times.<\/p>\n<p>This period of time is a challenge for senior citizens and those close to them. We are committed to providing the highest quality care, ensuring peace of mind as your loved one\u2019s safety and well-being are our top priority. personal protective equipment and sanitization techniques. Our personal support workers have received training with safety protocols like PPE and sanitizing techniques.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We always use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks, gloves, and hospital-grade disinfectant to wipe down surfaces.<\/li>\n<li>When sick, our team will stay home so they don\u2019t spread the disease.<\/li>\n<li>As a precaution for themselves and our clients and their families, we will not provide care to anyone who has tested positive for the virus.<\/li>\n<li>The PHAC\u2019s recommended hygiene practices, such as frequent handwashing, sterilizing surfaces, waste disposal, and restricting the spread of germs, must be adhered to at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the COVID-19 symptoms, reporting them, and adopting preventative measures in accordance with national guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our caregivers can offer a variety of services including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conversations and emotional support.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in rewarding pursuits with the elderly.<\/li>\n<li>Taking care of things like prescription pick-up and getting them to doctor\u2019s visits in Toronto.<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with grocery shopping and meal preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Aid with bathing, grooming, and other ADLs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ontario government has implemented measures to ensure the safety and well-being of seniors residing in care facilities and retirement homes.
