Meet Our Comfort Care Providers. As the face of our company, we only choose the very best Comfort Keepers providers to represent our company which is why we have an extensive hiring and placement process. Each Comfort Keeper goes through a strenuous screening process which includes a series of interviews, background checks and educational courses to ensure that they can provide the very best care and attention to our seniors. In addition to our screening process, all of our Comfort Keepers are also bonded, insured and provided Workers’ Compensation Insurance to protect our clients. Not only do we take extreme care in selecting our comfort care providers but we also work tirelessly to identify the best comfort keeper for your elder.

When determining which our comfort keepers will be matched with our seniors we take a variety of different factors into consideration including their individual personalities, interests and your seniors’ specific needs. By selecting the very best comfort care providers and matching them accurately to our seniors we are able to provide your senior with the care and attention they deserve. Roger Martin
Director

Roger Martin is the proud director of a family-run home care agency that puts heart and compassion at the center of everything it does. Raised with strong values of kindness, respect, and community service, Roger is passionate about helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home. With a background in political science and economics—and years of hands-on experience in home care—he brings both thoughtful leadership and a personal touch to every client relationship. For Roger, it’s not just about providing care—it’s about making people feel seen, supported, and valued like family.

Heather Martin
Director

Heather Martin has many years of professional and general management experience and has used this experience to build her own successful corporation, Comfort Keepers. Prior to venturing into Comfort Keepers, she worked for 18 years with a US based Company assisting with public relations, acquisitions, divestitures and general administration. Through Comfort Keepers, she is very involved in the White Rock/South Surrey community and helps organize programs and events for seniors. Comfort Keepers was awarded the 2017 Business Excellence Award from the South Surrey White Rock Chamber of Commerce. She spends her spare time helping and volunteering with Organizations like Luke 15 House and preparing and serving meals to the less fortunate. Heather is the Chair for the Semiahmoo Seniors Planning Table and the Secretary on the Burnaby Seniors Resources Society. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Psychology and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She resides with her family in Surrey.

Ethan Martin
Director

Ethan is the Director of Comfort Keepers Home Care which services the Lower Mainland as well as the Greater Victoria region. He started his career in Orthopaedics & Orthotics before joining his family-owned company, Comfort Keepers. Through his experiences at Comfort Keepers, he found his love of helping people who are in need. Ethan plays an integral role in establishing his company’s core values of honesty, integrity, compassion and respect. These core values resonate in Ethan’s personal life as well as in the work he does.  

Ethan is on the Technical Advisory Committee of SafeCareBC as well as a Director on the Board of the Rotary Club of White Rock.

Patricia is a dedicated Client Care Manager at Comfort Keepers, bringing extensive healthcare and leadership experience to the team since November 2018. Originally from Switzerland, she is a professionally trained nurse with over 10 years of experience in private home care. Patricia excels in leading teams, ensuring care standards, and delivering customer service to a diverse range of clients. Her expertise includes staff supervision, scheduling, performance evaluation, and training. Patricia is passionate about providing client-centered care and is committed to finding effective solutions for complex staffing and client needs. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, pursuing hobbies such as cycling, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.

Elaine brings extensive experience in research and administration, having spent 10 years in Dubai refining her skills in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Originally from the Philippines, she holds a Marketing degree and moved to Canada three years ago to pursue and successfully earn her master’s degree. Passionate about continuous learning and professional growth, Elaine approaches every opportunity with dedication, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. She believes that learning never stops and is always eager to contribute meaningfully to her work and the people around her. 

Mamta Nimwal

I hold double bachelor’s degrees and a Master’s in Human Resource Management, with over 8 years of experience in recruitment, program management, and HR operations. At Comfort Keepers, I manage end-to-end recruitment, HR operations, and onboarding formalities, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and new hires. My broader experience spans across India, the South Asia region and Canada, where I have successfully closed niche roles within tight timelines while handling HR Operations and Stakeholder Management. 

Outside of work, I enjoy binge-watching web series, cooking, shopping, and exploring new skincare trends.
