These Comfort Keepers are supported 24/7 by an efficient scheduling team. We do this to ensure that your loved one has a qualified companion to give them the best possible care. In addition to private homes, our wonderful Comfort Keepers are available for care services in retirement and nursing homes, hospitals and other facilities.
Comfort Keepers North Vancouver British Columbia is locally owned and operated. While Comfort Keepers has operations all over North America and around the world, being a franchise, we are as local as it gets. Comfort Keepers North and West Vancouver is owned and operated by Cherian Itty, a North Shore resident himself. Cherian holds an MBA from Queen’s University in Kingston, ON and is a graduate of Capilano University where he currently serves on the University’s Board of Governors. Most of our office and home care staff are also North Shore residents and are thus able to provide local context and advice to our clients.

Cherian, his wife and 2 children are long time residents and active community members of the North Shore – he is a Member of the North Shore Senior Services Circle and the Rotary Club of Lions Gate, North Vancouver. He holds an MBA from Queen’s University and is a graduate of Capilano University where he currently serves on the University’s Board of Governors. His passion is in helping Seniors retain their independence at home and enjoys working with his team of Caregivers to Deliver Daily Doses of Joy.
Angie is the Manager of Operations at Comfort Keepers since 2017. She loves engaging our clients, especially our seniors as they have journeyed through the life’s ups and downs and their experiences are a great addition to her life. Managing the schedules for our Seniors and Caregivers and understanding the challenges and joys in their lives has been a humbling and learning experience for Angie, one that she continues to enjoy. Prior to this role, Angie took time off from work to raise her two boys after she acquired her MBA degree from Pakistan. Angie, her husband and two kids love being part of NorthShore Community.
Ivan was previously working at the Vancouver Infectious Diseases Centre, CBI Residential and Transitional Care BC, and most recently, with Evergreen Nursing Services. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of British Columbia and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Regent College. Ivan has always been passionate about working alongside marginalized and vulnerable populations, and is eager to work with the communities in the North Shore to Elevate the Human Spirit!
Eliana has over 15 years of managerial experience in multiple environments, working with cross-cultural teams and leading a variety of operations and projects at large corporations like CNRL, Syncrude, Sodexo, Bee-Clean, and the Canadian Red Cross. A lifelong learner with humble beginnings, Eliana has a strong commitment to help the community, with a particular interest in the wellbeing of seniors and indigenous groups. Eliana aims to be the change that she wants to see in the world, striving to make mindful and lasting connections that will allow her to actively participate and be part of the community.
While we benefit from the systems, processes, standards and training of a large organization, our local ownership and operations focus entirely on North Vancouver and West Vancouver, giving us the unique ability to provide highly customized care services through our partnerships with other senior services that include private and not-for-profit services, from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove. Comfort Keepers North and West Vancouver is proud to be one of the founding Members of the North Shore Senior Services Circle, a passionate group of local businesses that have come together with a core goal of providing education and services needed by Seniors on the North Shore. We often see seniors struggling to research and understand options available to them and hope to be a one-stop shop for their needs by leaning on each other. We pool in our time, effort and other resources to organize free Senior Service Fairs, Speaker Series and in-home consultations in North Vancouver and West Vancouver.
