Comfort Keepers North Vancouver and West Vancouver is known throughout the home care community as the best provider of long-term care. We provide 24-hour Accredited in-home services to seniors and others who require home care services. Our mission is to provide high-quality care services that enable seniors and other clients to enjoy the highest level of independence and quality of life. In addition to private homes, our wonderful Comfort Keepers are available for care services in retirement and nursing homes, hospitals and other facilities.

Comfort Keepers North Vancouver British Columbia is locally owned and operated. Comfort Keepers North and West Vancouver is owned and operated by Cherian Itty, a North Shore resident himself. Cherian holds an MBA from Queen’s University in Kingston, ON and is a graduate of Capilano University where he also served as Chair of the University’s Board of Governors.

Betty Wills, RN – Care Advisor
Betty has had a long and varied career in nursing – she holds a Masters from the Hague University of Applied Sciences, in addition to her PhD in Nursing from the University of Alberta. Betty has worked in many areas of nursing at major hospitals and has taught at universities across Canada and internationally and moved to the North Shore from Edmonton in 2018. Betty has been an Accreditation Canada Surveyor since 2007 and is passionate about keeping seniors safe in the community and assisting them to age in place. In her free time, she loves hiking the Lynn Valley trails with her family.
Stella Lin, LPN – Care Advisor
Stella is a Licensed Practical Nurse with experience in community care, home health, and aesthetic nursing. She enjoys supporting seniors and building meaningful relationships with clients and their families, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and supported at home. Outside of work, Stella enjoys spending quality time with her family and her two lovely Shiba Inus. She loves being outdoors, going on hikes, exploring nature, and making special memories with her family and dogs.
Angie Rehman – Operations Manager and Scheduler
Angie holds an MBA and is the Manager of Operations at Comfort Keepers since 2017. She loves engaging our clients, especially our seniors as they journey through life’s ups and downs. Managing the schedules for our Seniors and Caregivers, and understanding the challenges and joys in their lives has been a humbling and learning experience that she continues to enjoy. Angie, her husband and two kids love being part of the North Shore Community.
Katrina Rono – HR Administrator
Kat earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Management from the Philippines and is very eager to pursue her CHRP designation in the future here in Canada. Kat loves being part of the team that supports our Seniors, as she gets to work with our Caregivers from different walks of life. She finds joy whenever she knows that our caregivers have made a positive impact in our Seniors’ lives. Kat, her husband, and son loves being part of the North Shore community.
Cherian Itty – Owner and Director of Client Care
Cherian, his wife and 2 children are long-time residents and active community members of the North Shore – he is a Member of the North Shore Senior Services Circle and the Rotary Club of Lions Gate, North Vancouver. He is a graduate of Capilano University and holds an MBA from Queen’s University, in Kingston, ON. His passion lies in helping Seniors retain their independence at home, and enjoys working with his team of Caregivers to Deliver Daily Doses of Joy.
Carlie Smith – Business Development Manager
Carlie is a local North Vancouverite through and through. She grew up in North Vancouver, and after a stint in England, now lives in Deep Cove with her husband and two children. After publishing BC Parent Magazine for the past ten years, Carlie is happily supporting the other spectrum of life by ensuring that our seniors are cared for in a compassionate way that helps bring them joy, and live their best lives.
While we benefit from the systems, processes, standards and training of a large organization, our local ownership and operations focus entirely on North Vancouver and West Vancouver, giving us the unique ability to provide highly customized care services through our partnerships with other senior services that include private and not-for-profit services, from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove. We support and are actively involved with, local not-for-profit initiatives for seniors.
North Shore Senior Services Circle

Comfort Keepers North and West Vancouver is proud to be one of the founding Members of the North Shore Senior Services Circle, a passionate group of local businesses that have come together with a core goal of providing education and services needed by Seniors on the North Shore. We often see seniors struggling to research and understand options available to them and hope to be a one-stop shop for their needs by leaning on each other. We pool in our time, effort and other resources to organize free Senior Service Fairs, Speaker Series and in-home consultations in North Vancouver and West Vancouver.
