Elevating the human spirit with home care in Ottawa
The range of senior care services offered by Comfort Keepers of Ottawa includes light housework, food preparation, companionship and personal care services, as well as more specialized services for those with dementia and needs for end-of-life care. We provide transportation to and from the pharmacy, grocery store, and doctor’s appointments. If additional round-the-clock care is required, Comfort Keepers Ottawa offers live-in or 24-hour services. We help people, particularly veterans, with the documentation required for government-funded home care. We also provide vision loss services in our office. In collaboration with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, we offer seniors and the elderly who are visually impaired specialized trained care aides who support them in maintaining their independence and staying in their homes.
By utilizing our Interactive CaregivingTM approach and the Nourish Senior Life Program®, Comfort Keepers of Ottawa is able to deliver superior home health care services to senior citizens and the elderly.
Within the framework of the Senior Nutrition component of Interactive Caregiving, we place an emphasis on the diet and nutrition of senior citizens by means of the Nourish Senior Life® Program. In addition to offering screening for malnutrition, the Nourish Senior Life Program raises awareness about the significance of maintaining a healthy diet for individuals aged 65 and older. It also educates the general public about the problems associated with malnutrition in senior citizens. Senior citizens can maintain their independence and reduce the need for in-home care by maintaining a healthy diet.
What we call “Interactive Caregiving” is a four-pronged strategy to providing care for senior citizens. By putting an emphasis on senior mental health, senior physical health, senior nutrition, and senior safety, this style of care for the aged allows for an increase in the sense of well-being and independence that seniors experience. In most cases, a child or grandchild of an elderly or senior loved one comes to us because of a fall, malnutrition, or improper management of medicines. This is the case when the child or grandchild approaches us. We are addressing the primary reasons why a senior or elderly person requires home senior care in the first place by concentrating on these four aspects: the mind, the body, nutrition, and safety. The goal that we have set for ourselves is to help your senior loved one return to a manner of life that is more independent.

We know that when it comes to in-home care, no two cases are alike. This is why we believe in personalized care plans. To get started, just follow these two simple steps:
During the in-home evaluation, we will give you feedback in real time, with no waiting. Thanks to our proprietary in-home diagnostic tools, you’ll have an itemized care plan you can trust.
