As the face of our company, we only choose the very best Comfort Keepers providers to represent our company which is why we have an extensive hiring and placement process. Each Comfort Keeper goes through a strenuous screening process which includes a series of interviews, background checks, and educational courses to ensure that they can provide the very best care and attention to our seniors
Only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of care – and become Comfort Keepers. Our caregivers also pass extensive background checks and receive continuing education. Our Comfort Keepers are bonded, insured and covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance. This protects our clients and their families – and because they are Comfort Keepers employees, we take care of their payroll taxes.
Comfort Keepers work as trusted partners with families to provide their loved ones a complete in-home care solution to promote independent living.

I received my training and schooling in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. I want to be a comfort keeper because I love to care and enjoy spreading joy. I enjoy camping, being outside around a fire roasting marshmallows with my family. My family brings me joy.
Hello, my name is Ashli and I work as the HR Advisor here at Comfort Keepers and I also assist with some office support. I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Human Resources. I chose to enter the health care industry because I wanted to make a difference and help people. At Comfort Keepers I am able truly make a difference in the lives of our seniors and our communities.
While not at work, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, and spending time playing games with friends and family. I am also passionate about cooking, travelling, and I am very (very) slowly learning new languages.
