Celebrating Millie: Comfort Keepers Parksville’s 2025 Caregiver of the Year

This year, we are proud to shine a special spotlight on one extraordinary individual who embodies these values in every sense: Millie, our 2025 Caregiver of the Year.

A Caregiver Who Leads With Heart

Millie is widely known among clients and families for her calm presence, warm smile, and ability to make every person she supports feel truly seen and heard. She approaches caregiving with empathy and professionalism, consistently going above and beyond to ensure comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being.

Families frequently share heartfelt feedback about Millie—whether it’s her willingness to stay a little longer to provide reassurance, her creativity in keeping clients engaged, or her steady support during challenging moments. Her dedication reflects the very essence of what compassionate in-home senior care should be.

Nominated for Comfort Keeper of the Year (KBCOTY)

In recognition of her outstanding commitment, Millie has been nominated for the KBCOTY (Kristina Butler Comfort Keeper® of the Year ) award, to be held next year in Dallas, Texas. This nomination places her among an elite group of caregivers from across the Comfort Keepers network who exemplify our mission to elevate the human spirit.

Representing Comfort Keepers Parksville on a national stage is a tremendous achievement, and we are incredibly proud of Millie as she prepares to represent our local community and caregiving team.
