Our Safety Solutions

Personal Emergency Response System

Medical alert systems help seniors preserve their independence by providing a fast, easy way to get assistance in the case of an emergency. We recommend Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) from SafetyChoice®, which are activated with a simple push of a button to summon help.

These systems are activated when a loved one presses a button on a medical alert bracelet or necklace (also known as pendants), which then alerts the SafetyChoice® Centralized Monitoring Station. The SafetyChoice® Centralized Monitoring Station will then make the determination of whom to call and in what order.

  • Medical Alert Bracelets
Potentially life-saving devices worn conveniently on the wrist. These are often preferred by men.
  • Medical Alert Necklaces
These alert products provide the same safety as bracelets, but are worn on a cord around the neck. They are comfortable and convenient.
  • Medical Alert Consoles
These tabletop units are the brain of the medical alert system. When a button is pushed on a bracelet or necklace (or on the console itself), these units send a message for help.

Home Monitoring System

Door and window alarms, bedside pressure mats and motion detectors boost home security. These devices help empower seniors be safe in their homes.

  • Window and Door Alarms
These monitoring sensors are easily installed and work with existing phone lines. When the alarm sounds, our SafetyChoice® Centralized Monitoring Station personnel will alert people on the subscriber’s responder list.
  • Bedside Pressure Mats and Motion Detectors
Our bedside pressure mats and motion detectors help increase the safety level for seniors, and can give family members a sense of security.
  • Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors
In the event of a fire or carbon monoxide detection, the SafetyChoice® smoke and carbon monoxide detectors will sound the alarm and signal the SafetyChoice® Centralized Monitoring Station to dispatch the local fire department.

Medication Safety and Management

Medication management is one of the most critical issues facing seniors who live independently. It is a real safety concern for those whose everyday health and wellbeing depend on taking the right dose of the right medication at the right time.

According to the Canadian Institute for Health Information, more than one-third of medication-related hospitalizations are due to patients not taking their medicines as directed. Additionally, medication non-adherence has also been associated with as much as 40 percent of nursing home admissions, notes the American Pharmacists Association.

  • Pill Dispenser
The perfect solution for managing more complicated schedules.
  • Tab Safe
A simple, cost-effective solution to prevent medication mistakes.
