Celebrating Rosie Vishram’s Retirement – We at Comfort Keepers Edmonton are celebrating owner Rosie Vishram’s impressive career as well as her retirement. She has been an integral part of caregiving in the Edmonton area for the past 20 years. Rosie’s career with Comfort Keepers has touched so many people and she will be missed. We wish her all the best in her retirement as she discovers new adventures.
Rosie began her career in caregiving when she found herself in the situation of looking after a loved one. She recognized how important it was to provide client-centred care to seniors or anyone vulnerable. She experienced a huge gap between the care that was needed and what was available. This sparked Rosie’s determination to make a difference in healthcare support for her community.
Rosie’s career began in medical research at the University of Alberta after finishing university in England.
She has lived in Edmonton for 40 years and believes in giving back to the community that has supported her and her family for so many years. Rosie has always enjoyed working with people and that is the main experience that she brought in running a home care company. We have had an outpouring of support expressing how admired Rosie was by her team and clients.
Rosie enjoys spending time with her husband (Faruq), children and grandchildren. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, biking and skiing together. We hope she will now have more time with her family for such activities or any other endeavour she wishes to pursue. We are confident Rosie will be quite busy in her retirement and look forward to her updates.
